Retired International Student and Scholar Advisor, currently fundraising volunteer for several organizations.
I completed my BA after many years of being home raising four children, and then entered the professional world of higher education. I worked as an advisor for international students and for college admissions. From a small women’s liberal arts college to a large Ivy League university, I had the opportunity to meet some amazing students and academicians from around the world. But I have always made time to sing and have been a part of large oratorio choirs, small women’s choruses, week-long singing retreats in the Berkshires culminating in a concert and, my favorite, joining an a cappella group! I now spend my time as a professional volunteer, serving on the Board for Girl Scouts of Eastern PA, President of a Volunteer Committee for the Philadelphia Orchestra and Co-Chairing the largest annual fundraiser for the Orchestra to be held in September 2016. I’m also a pretty popular Mom-Mom to our six grandchildren!
