Mark’s Story
I’ve was the Executive Director of AACA from 2014 – 2024. I joined the Counterparts in 2007, and love every minute of it. I’m devoted to spreading the joy of a cappella singing and am deeply honored to work with everyone in AACA to further our mission. I also sing in the Yale Alumni Chorus and Singing City of Philadelphia. I am retired, having spent my entire career in higher education, first teaching anthropology and then serving in a variety of administrative roles. I was quite active in the Society for College and University Planning, and in the National Association of Presidential Assistants in Higher Education. I currently serve as a docent at the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology.
